Facials in Park City, Utah

When I began my business in Southern California over a decade ago, I had a service menu that included all kinds of fun facial names. I finally realized that I was customizing every single facial and so the KM Customized Facial eventually took the place of all the others. It’s my job, not my clients, to figure out exactly what needs to be done to their skin at every single appointment. I know that it’s fun for the client to pick a fun sounding facial from a menu but the choice is often not what’s really best for their skin.

Now that I have re-located KMSKIN Studio to Park City, Utah, I have new challenges because of the extreme weather conditions. The altitude is high, the air is dry as a bone and the winters can leave one with chapped and cracking skin with a rough texture but I am up to the challenge.

I have added Oxygen (to feed cells and help with high altitude), Microcurrent (non-invasive facelift to lift and tone) and LED Red Light (skin healing and wrinkle eraser) as optional add-ons to your KM Customized Facials.

Every KM Customized Facial begins with a thorough examination of the skin with a magnified light plus the touch test. This helps me determine what I will need to do to get that that complexion in tiptop shape.

Cleanse

Every facial begins with makeup removal and a double cleanse. But, the cleanser that I use will not be the same for everyone.

Exfoliate

Some type of exfoliation will always be needed. I will use an enzyme or manual exfoliant like a gentle scrub depending on the condition of your skin.

Extract

In my opinion extractions should never be an add-on treatment. That is a lot of the reason you get a facial. You want clean, well functioning pores and this is how I achieve that for you.

Mask

A seasonal, handpicked and active mask will be applied to your face, neck and decollete while a foot and scalp massage help to a deepen your relaxation.

Hydrate

A cocktail of serums and a moisturizer massaged into your skin will leaving it feeling younger, healthier and with a glow that will have friends asking what you’ve had done.

Sunblock

If you have a facial during daytime hours, you will never leave without a generous application of a 30 SPF or higher. Bring a hat to add an extra layer of protection when you go back out into the sun.

Don’t ever underestimate what a really good facial can do for your complexion. I know there are thousands of new and more invasive treatments available but I swear by good basic skincare and maintenance. This is where great skin begins, here and at home. All of the other treatments should come once your skin is in tip-top shape.
