Park City Facials

Kris examining a clients skin before treatment

I have had so much fun getting my space ready to receive Park City clients. It has taken me back to when I was opening my studio in Westlake Village, CA almost 18 years ago. In March of 2020 my studio had to close due to Covid. I tried to look at the bright side and look at it as an opportunity for me to slow down and re-think my business. and make a life change. What area of the country could benefit from what I have to offer? What changes and additions should I implement when I can re-open?

After a lot of thought and consideration, I decided to move back to Utah, the place where I was born and lived until I was 32. Park City seemed like the most logical location for my new business, so I started looking at space about a year ago. A few months ago, I knew it was time to make it happen and the rest is history.

I have never been interested in having employees or a giant business. From the beginning I wanted a small and intimate space that would feel like a safe cozy haven for my clients as well as myself. Customer service has always been the most important element of my business. I want everyone I treat to feel totally comfortable coming in and to never feel intimidated. I have thought out every detail of my business from the treatments to the music.

I am very familiar with the skincare industry and early on I did a lot of research and found the most exceptional skincare products to use in my treatment room. Besides a few tried and true product lines that continually deliver results, I also curated my own skincare line using a handful of ingredients that I knew would make remarkable changes and improvements in my clients skin. There is a lot of hype these days when it comes to skincare and I eliminated all the guess work and hype with my KMSKIN products.

I have added some new devices in my Park City studio that address the challenges of Utah’s extreme climate. I now offer professional grade LED Lights to repair skin damage caused by the harsh Utah climate. Microcurrent (non-invasive facelift) and Oxygen to feed the skins cells. Together with an arsenal of professional skincare products that exfoliate, hydrate and protect the skin from harsh conditions like bone dry air, sun reflecting off snow, high altitude and lack of oxygen. If you could only choose one product to help with aging skin, what would you choose? It better be sunblock! No one leaves my studio without a layer of sunblock for protection.

As enjoyable as it has been creating the perfect space and am now ready to open my door and begin meeting and treating new Park City faces. October 11th will be opening day and appointments can be scheduled online at kmskinandbody.com. I can’t wait to meet you!
