What's Your Purpose?

Updated: Oct 16, 2020

I was listening to a podcast on my hike today. The subject was Purpose. I started to think about my purpose and what has driven me for all these years to work in the beauty industry. This is what I came up with.

I became a makeup artist at 19. I did it as a side job in college but ended up finding my lifetime passion and purpose there. I remember that what I loved, even more than the creativity, was the way it made other women feel. With a little makeup, came new found confidence. I know that makeup isn't the end all but it was something that I could give and I became obsessed.

I knew then that building others confidence by-way-of skin care treatments and makeup would be my career path. As my own skin started to mature, I felt like I might be losing some of my confidence. I realized that having really nice skin would give me that needed boost and makeup alone was not the answer. It was at this time that I decided to go to school to become a Licensed Esthetician. I wanted to help women my own age restore their skin, which in turn would improve their confidence.

So fast forward many years. My purpose is still the same now as it was then. There is no better feeling than having someone step out of my treatment room feeling like her skin has been transformed. I see the same glowing confidence that I saw when I was a makeup artist and it thrills me, every time.

Three years ago, I was compelled to create my own skincare line. I knew that facials were not for everyone but that having beautiful skin is. I had been using a variety of products in my treatment room and I knew, first hand, which ingredients worked and which ones didn't. There is so much confusion and hype around products, ingredients and how to apply and I knew it didn't need to be that way. I honestly believe that KMSKIN Anti-Aging Essentials is one the best anti-aging skin care lines on the market. It's simple, highly effective and reasonably priced. After all, good home care is 80% of the solution to having beautiful skin.

I do know that women like change. My advice is this, have fun changing up your makeup but not your skin care routine, if it's working, stay the course. My promise to you is, KMSKIN Anti-Aging Essentials will give you the skin that you have been dreaming of.

Is it time for you to boost your confidence?
